Each one of our five conveniently located offices in Rochester, NY is staffed by a Doctor of Audiology, with extensive experience and training in fitting and dispensing today’s advanced hearing technology.

Meet Our Team
Dr. stephen t. hart
Dr. Hart has been practicing audiology and addressing the hearing needs of his patients for over 40 years. He received his masters degree in audiology from SUNY Geneseo and his doctorate in audiology from the University of Florida. In 2007, Dr. Hart was awarded the Distinguished Clinical Achievement Award from the New York State Speech-Language-Hearing Association. His professional activities include serving two terms as a member of the New York State Licensure Board as well as past leadership positions in regional and state associations.

Pete joined the practice in 2012, seeing patients in Fairport and Irondequoit. He completed his undergraduate studies at SUNY Geneseo and received his doctoral degree from the Northeast Ohio Au.D. Consortium - a joint program between The Cleveland Clinic, The University of Akron, and Kent State University. Pete enjoys weekends on the St. Lawrence River, biking, and spending time with family and friends.
DR. SARAH HODGSON
Dr. Sarah Hodgson joined the Hart Hearing & Balance team in November 2017. She received her Doctorate in Audiology from James Madison University (JMU). Dr. Hodgson is a native of Penfield and is excited to be moving back to Rochester. She is thrilled to be serving the audiological needs of the Rochester community and particularly enjoys helping to improve patient’s quality of life and communication with loved ones through amplification. Dr. Hodgson is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). In her spare time, she enjoys reading, scrapbooking, and exploring new places!
Katie is the newest member of the Hart Hearing & Balance team, having joined the practice in May of 2019 as the practice’s first audiology resident. She attended the University at Buffalo for both her undergraduate degree in communicative disorders and sciences and her doctoral degree in audiology. Thus far, Katie has enjoyed her graduate work as a clinician at the Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center, a community not-for- profit organization, and at the Rochester Outpatient VA. Katie is a member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). She is extremely excited to begin a career in a helping profession where guiding patients on their journey to improved hearing, communication, and consequently, enhanced quality of life, is the goal of each and every day. When not at the office, you’ll likely find Katie outside kayaking, biking, hiking, or going on exploratory adventures with her boyfriend, Dave, and her pup Finnegan!
Anita joined HHC in 2013 and keeps all five offices running smoothly. Anita takes care of billing and is our "go to" person for all insurance programs and everything that entails.Anita enjoys gardening at her home in Forest Hills where she resides with her husband Bill and their two dogs. She tries to visit her sons in Boston and Chicago as often as she can!
Wendy joined the Hart Hearing & Balance team in January 2016. Wendy’s responsibilities include financial management and human resources. When Wendy isn’t balancing the books, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. Wendy resides in Irondequoit with her husband Jim and their three children Max, Jake, and Maddy.
Monica works with Dr. Hodgson at our Greece office. She is a newlywed and together with her wonderful husband David has three teenage children. Monica and her family love to hike and camp. You may find her ripping it up at Zumba too! Monica moved to Rochester from Baltimore and has quickly fallen in love with Wegman’s, Abbotts and the Finger Lakes Wineries.
Colleen joined HHC in 2012 as the patient coordinator at our Fairport and Brighton offices. She is very proud of her two beautiful daughters. Colleen lives in Farmington with her husband and their two dogs.
Amanda joined the team in April 2018. Amanda splits her time between our Brockport and Brighton offices. She resides in Spencerport with her husband, Darren and three children. Outside of the workday, Amanda enjoys sports and watching her children play soccer, hockey and lacrosse. In her spare time, she also likes to knit and make various crafts.
Pat has been with HHC for over 20 years! Pat is responsible for the insurance billing for the Irondequoit, Brockport, and Brighton Offices. Outside of work Pat spends time cooking, gardening, cross stitching, and watching old black & white films. Pat resides in the Hamlet of Egypt with her husband Munawar and their cat Lia. Their daughter, Kim, lives in Irondequoit.
Claire Bradman joined HHC in 2014 after moving back to New York from Florida to be closer to her grandchildren. She keeps everyone in check as Patient Coordinator at our Irondequoit office. Claire also ensures our offices in Brighton and Brockport run smoothly. When Claire isn't in the office she enjoys yoga, spending time with family, and visiting friends back in Florida.
Mary LiVecchi joined HHC in September 2017. Mary will be wearing several hats in her Administrative role with Hart Hearing & Balance. You may see Mary assisting clients at the Titus Avenue location as well as working behind the scenes to support our accounting and billing department. Mary resides in Irondequoit with her husband Marc and two children. Outside of work Mary enjoys reading, yoga, camping and spending time with family and friends.
Patient Technology Coordinator
Bridget joined the team at Hart Hearing & Balance in September 2018. Bridget's main role is processing hearing aids. You can also see her warm smile at our Brighton office. Bridget resides in Charlotte with her two cats, Joanna and Ares. In her free time, Bridget enjoys kayaking, hiking and camping. She has also been known to bake an incredible pie!
